The compote has the blue Herend hallmark on the bottom of the dish along with the model number 7557/VBR. A wonderful find for the Queen Victoria collector. This is a gorgeous pedestal hand painted with florals and butterfly compote by Herend Hungary. In the Queen Victoria green pattern, which is one of the most collectible patterns Herend makes, this compote has 3 dolphins / koi fish on the pedestal, and lovely gold painted trim and accents. Completely handpainted, and with markings/impressions on the underside, this gorgeous piece is authentic and would make a LOVELY gift for any collector. It is quite a hard-to-find piece!
